Isabelle Ferrant will replace Laurence Bovy as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at the Brussels Regional Investment Company (known as the “SRIB”). Laurence Bovy will go on to manage Vivaqua. As indicated, Isabelle Ferrant, a lawyer specialising in commercial law having allegiances to the Socialist Party, will replace Mrs Bovy.
The new recruit will chair her first council meeting on Monday, but will participate in her first board meeting next Friday.
It is thought that Mrs Ferrant may apply her knowledge and expertise to the SRIB, which risks calls from her to review its structure.
Indeed, the regional government announced a series of measures to improve the operation of the Brussels organisation, specifically the transparency in terms of director remuneration and that of senior executives.
