On Wednesday evening, the police carried out four searches as part of the investigation into the failed terrorist attack at Brussels Central Station on Tuesday.
The Federal Prosecutor’s Office indicated yesterday that four people were taken in for questioning following the searches.

The searches took place at the homes of those who had regular contact with Oussama Zariouh. He is the man who, on Tuesday evening, attempted to blow up a suitcase in Brussels Central Station, before being shot dead by the military.

Two searches took place at Koekelberg, one in Anderlecht and a further one in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. The four people taken in for questioning will appear before the investigating judge today. He will decide as to whether or not warrants should be issued for their arrest.
