Davis Cup: Steve Darcis beats Jordan Thompson sending Belgium to final
The tennis world is looking forward to a Belgium v. France Davis Cup final.

Belgium qualified for its second Davis Cup final in three years. Steve Darcis (ATP ranking 77) played the decider point on Sunday, making it 3-2 to Belgium. This came in his semi-final against Australia where he beat Jordan Thompson (ATP ranking 70) on Sunday. They were playing in Court 12 in the Brussels Expo. Darcis took the match in three sets, 6-4, 7-5, 6-2 in 2 hours and 23 minutes.

On Friday, David Goffin beat John Millman 6-7 (4/7), 6-4, 6-3, 7-5. Nick Kyrgios made the two teams equal by defeating Steve Darcis, 6-3, 3-6, 6-7 (5/7), 6-1, 6-2. On Saturday, the Australian pair, Jordan Peers and Jordan Thompson, were too good for Ruben Bemelmans and Arthur De Greef, taking the doubles match 6-3, 6-4, 6-0.

On Sunday, Goffin equalised, beating Kyrgios 6-7 (4/7), 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. In the final, Belgium will meet France which had a 3-1 victory over Serbia.
