The Brussels–Capitale/Ixelles police are looking for images of Saturday’s incidents so they can identify those responsible, it announced on its Twitter account on Sunday.
The violence started at around 4pm, after a demonstration against the enslavement of Libyan immigrants on the nearby place Poelaert. Stores and a police car were damaged by protesters. After Federal police reinforcements arrived, it all moved towards Porte de Namur.
“All images showing the incidents on the 25th of November #PortedeNamur can be transferred to the judicial task force via the following address firstname.lastname@example.org. This will help us to identify the perpetrators”, the Brussels-Capitale/Ixelles police wrote on their Twitter account.
