As part of the rebranding of the Belgian bank’s Brussels branches, KBC Brussels is also focusing on training its staff in providing better service and customized information in English to Brussels expats residents, estimated to number about 400 000 or 35% of Brussels population. This includes regular banking activities and the opening of an account, to home loans, investment advice and funding assistance to entrepreneurial projects.
A spokesperson for the expat department explained that the bank intends to “build on its vast network of partners in Belgium to assist prospective private and professional clients in making their stay in Brussels as successful as possible”.
