Soldiers intervened Saturday night against an individual threatening customers in a night shop close to the Christmas market held this weekend at Place Flagey in Ixelle, said Ilse Van de Keere, spokesperson for the police in Brussels-Ixelles. Someone approached patrolling soldiers to report problems with the threatening person. He escaped when the soldiers arrived but they managed to catch up with him. The police in Brussels-Ixelles was then asked to bring the troublemaker to a police station.
