The Woluwe Shopping Center has passed into the hands of the Dutch company, Eurocommercial Properties. De Tijd reported this on Sunday on its Internet site. The property owners and lenders, Woluwe Shopping Center and Woluwe Extension, will therefore soon no longer be listed on the stock exchange.
The daily publication states that the Dutch company, which specialises in shopping centres has acquired the Woluwe Shopping Centre for €425 million. Eurocommercial Properties’s offer to purchase goes back to last October.
According to a communiqué from Woluwe Shopping Center and Woluwe Extension, the negotiations to sell the property have now ended, and an agreement was signed last Friday with Eurocommercial Properties.
