A little girl of 3 years old passed away Sunday evening after having fallen from a 6th floor in Schaerbeek, says Brussels prosecutor’s office. The tragedy took place on Progrès St. around 7 pm. For an unknown reason, the little girl fell from the balcony of her flat.
The Brussels prosecutor’s office has initiated an inquiry to determine the circumstances of the tragedy, and the criminal police lab has been on the premises. A forensic scientist will also examine the child’s body. According to preliminary findings, the prosecution believes it was an accident.
