A traffic accident occurred in the night between Wednesday to Thursday in the municipality of Lessines in the province of Hainaut. One of the passengeers in a car was killed on the spot. A second person was injured and hospitalized.
The accident occurred shortly before 03:00 in the morning, along Rue de Flobecq in Ollignies in the municipality of Lessines. For some reason that an investigation will have to determine the car was found stuck under a parked tractor.
When the Lessines rescue services and an ambulance arrived at the scene, one of the passengers had already died. A second person had to be extracted from the car and was admitted to hospital. A prosecutor from Tournai-Mons arrived also to the scene of the tragedy.
