A Frankfurt to Brussels flight by German airline Lufthansa had to do an emergency landing on Sunday. This was due to a small amount of smoke coming from the cockpit. The 73 passengers were able to leave the plane safely, a company spokesman said.
The pilots noticed a small amount of smoke after leaving Brussels. They alerted Frankfurt airport, which is barely an hour’s flight from Brussels. The plane was able to land there without any trouble.
The cause of the smoke has not determined. The plane still needs to be inspected by technical services.
