New food market to open in Brussels
"Brussels Food Market" will cover the first two floors of the Chambon building in Brussels city centre

The opening of “Brussels Food Market” is scheduled to open in Summer 2019. The covered market will be situated on two floors in the Chambon building, right behind De Brouckère in Brussels city centre, and will cover an area of 2600m².

The anticipations are high and the market likely becoming hugely popular amongst locals, living in a city renowned for its many culinary products. Stalls will offer local organic grown food, as well as Asian, vegan and many other kinds.

In addition the market will also have several restaurants, microbreweries, chocolate makers and coffee roasters. In total, 800 seats will be available for visitors.

Famous Belgian architect Lionel Jadot will be in charge of the design of the new venue.
