Bruxellois bet that turned €8 into 35,000

A 46-year-old man from Brussels managed to turn an 8 euro bet into 34,714.31 after a series of predictions worked out in his favour. The occasional bettor managed the unlikely win last weekend in the betFIRST in Leeuw Saint-Pierre. He managed to correctly predict the number of goals scored for 12 separate football matches.

Last Sunday, we lost a lot of money because almost all the football favourites won their match - it's unique to our job: you win, you lose, said Alexis Murphy, CEO of betFIRST. It is also a little about changing people's lives, and if we can do it that way, it's obviously only positive, he added.
