Man arrested after multiple robberies in Brussels neighbourhood

A 33-year-old man suspected of several robberies in Schaerbeek has been arrested following at least four robberies in the Brussels area.  The last crime took place on Monday, March 18 on the Chaussée de Helmet in Schaerbeek. The man broke into a pharmacy and robbed the pharmacist, reports HLN.

The pharmacist was able to provide a good description to the police, who then scoured the area to find him. The robber was still hanging around in the neighbourhood, and the police were able to arrest him following a chase.

While he is suspected of four in total, the man is suspected of previously committing three other robberies in the same neighbourhood.
