Manneken Pis added the new uniform for the STIB tram drivers to his wardrobe on Friday. The statue of the little peeing boy has already had 1,022 different outfits, including three other STIB-uniforms. For the public transport company's 150th anniversary celebration, all tram drivers received a new uniform on Thursday. On Friday morning, Belgium's most famous statue received the symbolic outfit as well.
The official ceremony took place at the Brussels' city hall, where the CEO of STIB, Brieuc de Meeûs, was also present. The parade led by the marching band of Meyboom departed at the city hall towards the statue of Manneken Pis to display its new uniform.
