An apartment building on Rue Georges Leclercq in Forest is at least temporarily uninhabitable after a fire broke out on Monday evening.
The residents of the building could be evacuated in time and remained unharmed, reports the Brussels fire brigade.
The fire in the four-apartment building was noticed around 22.30 on Monday evening. By the time the fire brigade had arrived, the residents had already been able to leave the building.
The fire started on the first floor and was quickly extinguished, but because of the fire and smoke damage the building is at least temporarily uninhabitable.
The exact cause of the fire is still unclear.
