A shell has been found during the renovation of the building on Avenue Louise, according to local media.
The shell does not pose a threat to the public on the road, but DOVO, a demining service, has been called in.
The police do not yet want to reveal the exact location on Avenue Louise, but the device is understood to be an anti-tank grenade, reports Bruzz.
The shell was discovered on Thursday, according to the police of Brussels Capital / Ixelles. The premises have been secured pending an assessment by DOVO, that should take place by Tuesday, reports sudinfo.
