Four individuals suspected of trespassing on UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s property in Kirby Sigston in Yorkshire, England, were arrested on Tuesday, according to police.

The suspects are believed to be affiliated with an activist group called Youth Demand, which advocates for environmental protection and a weapons embargo on Israel.

Youth Demand released a video showing a young man trespassing on the private property and defecating in the lake. The group labelled the act a “farewell gift” for the Conservative government led by Sunak.

In a press release, Youth Demand identified the man in the video as Oliver, a 21-year-old student from Manchester. The group accused the government of  ”allowing their mates to get filthy rich from selling weapons to battle-test on toddlers in Gaza" and "drilling for more oil as the world burns."

Youth Demand has been calling for an embargo on weapon sales to Israel, and demanding that the UK government revoke all new licences for the oil and gas industries since 2021.

This is not the first instance of Sunak’s home being targeted by protesters. Last August, four Greenpeace activists were arrested for climbing onto the roof of his house. His other property west of London was also the focus of a protest against oil exploitation by a group called Just Stop Oil in November 2023 .
