The price of gas rose again on Thursday morning, after technical problems limited Norwegian gas deliveries, then fell.
The price of the Dutch TTF, which sets the tone on the European market, initially gained over 5%, climbing to more than €180 per MWh. It then fell below €170 per MWh.
Norwegian operator Gassco announced a decrease in gas deliveries from Thursday from the main Norwegian gas field,Troll, due to problems with a turbine. It said this would last for an indefinite period.
Next week, maintenance work is planned on another gas field.
