On Monday, producer Live Nation announced that in 2015, the American singer Paul Simon, former member of the duo Simon & Garfunkel, and Sting will launch a series of joint concerts in Europe, as part of their “On Stage Together” tour which was launched earlier this year in North America , This European tour of 18 dates is scheduled to start on March 12 in Krakow, Poland, and end on April 15 in London, with stops planned in Berlin ( March 16th), Antwerp (March 23rd) and Paris (April 3rd).
Paul Simon and the former Police frontman have already given a series of joint concerts in North America in February and March 2014 and are expected to give a dozen concerts in Australia and New Zealand in January and February 2015.
The idea of ??a joint tour came “at a charity concert at the Robin Hood Foundation in 2013 when the two artists and longtime friends, played together for the first time,” said Live Nation in a statement.
On stage, the two artists will perform, together and separately, hits such as “The Boxer” or “Boy in the Bubble” for Paul Simon, 72, or “Fields of Gold” and “Every Breath You Take” for Sting, 62.
