Second edition of Belgian Chocolate Expo to take place February 6th-8th, 2015

On the occasion of World Chocolate Day, organizers of the Chocolate Expo have confirmed that the second edition of the Chocolate Expo will be held next year from February 6th to the 8th.
The event will be held at the Palais 1 of the Brussels Expo. For three days, visitors will meet artisans and view work, attend workshops, or attend lectures and demonstrations, which include a daily parade of dresses made out of cocoa. Chocolate lovers will of course also be able to sample the different chocolates.

Created in 1994 in Paris, the Chocolate Expo will celebrate its 20th anniversary from October 29th to November 2nd at the “Porte de Versailles” exhibition site.  The event which takes place in 29 international cities such as Paris, New York, Tokyo, Moscow and Beijing, will also be present in Brussels for its second edition.

“With 7,500 people working in 450 Belgian companies, Belgium is one of the top 5 chocolate producers in the world. This definitely justifies a second event in the Brussels region," stated the event’s co -founder, Sylvie Douce, after the first edition.

Last year, nearly 30,000 visitors traveled to attend the event which featured 90 exhibitors, 65 artisans and manufacturers.
