Three days before the event to celebrate the opening of Mons 2015, European capital of Culture Mons has received a second star in the new edition of the Michelin tourist guide to ‘the big Walloon cities”. “The European Capital of Culture is creative and ambitious”, says the Michelin Guide, which has released a special edition for “Mons 2015”. “Bubbling with excitement and constantly evolving. It has not finished surprising us with its desire to encourage creativity, to conciliate art and technology, as well as its desire to reinforce the collective identity by launching a communal project around the unifying theme of culture”.
There was also a special edition of “Guide du Routard” for Mons 2015 in December 2014.
