The Museum Night Fever received 16,500 visitors on Saturday evening

The tenth Museum Night Fever saw 16,500 people visit the 23 participating Brussels museums on Saturday evening, the organisers announced Sunday morning.
The 23 participating museums received 61,000 visits and 16,500 visitors during the event, which took place from 7pm to 1am.

Three museums were taking part for the first time: ARGOS, the Boghossian Foundation and the MIMA, which opened in Molenbeek a year ago.

Proportionally, the big museums received the most visits – BELvue pulled in 9,800 people and BOZAR 9,500. Small museums also had a successful night, including Choco-Story, the Fantasy Art museum and ARGOS, the organisers said.

Around 75% of the visitors were less than 35 years old.
