Pukkelpop – Pukkelpop 2017 went “exceptionally well”

The organisers of Pukkelpop are overjoyed at how well the 2017 music festival has gone. This year’s event, the 32nd, ended on Saturday. It was attended by 243,000 festival-goers, and all the tickets were sold out. “The weather was much better that expected as well, with the forecast being so bad before Pukkelpop started”, a spokesman for the Limburg festival said on Sunday.

221 artists in total performed at Kiewet (Hasslet) over the four days, totalling 224 hours of music. “This was an exceptionally good year, the spokesman continued.” There were no incidents over the entire festival”.

On Saturday, the last day of Pukkelpop, Mumford and Sons and Flume performed on the main stage.

Apart from the fact that one individual managed to steal 77 mobile phones from festival-goers, there were no incidents. The thief, a 39 year old man, was arrested by local police.

Next year’s Pukkelpop will be from the 15th to the 18th of August 2017.
