This Friday, in Louvière, a man was put under arrest after he attempted to assassinate his ex-partner, reported Mons prosecutor’s office on Saturday. According to Christian Henry, Roi de Mons prosecutor, the man went home after a dispute with his ex-partner only to return armed to his ex-partner’s house. During his absence, she had sought refuge with a friend. According to the prosecutor’s office, the aggressor tried to fire one shot “at chest height” as he approached his ex-partner’s house but his gun jammed. Nobody was injured in the incident. The man was apprehended and put under arrest for attempted murder.
