The suspected arsonist of the discotheque Le Premium in juvenile court

On Thursday morning, the Mons Family Tribunal ordered divestiture in the Le Premium arson case, which dates back to the 23rd of January 2011. A fireman from Mons lost his life during the intervention. The suspected arsonist, Mohammed B., was a minor at the time and must appear before a special chamber of the Youth Tribunal to face the consequences of his actions. The Prosecutor had requested divestiture from the Family tribunal and considered it was within the law to do so. The Youth Tribunal also considered that the arsonist must face the consequences of his actions in front of a Youth Correctional Chamber made up of two magistrates from the Correctional Tribunal and a magistrate from the Youth Tribunal. The case will be now be referred to the Mons Prosecutors Office and is expected to be concluded with two months.
