Weather - generally dry weekend after rainy Friday

Friday will be the day the weather turns, with some rainy periods and only a few bright spells. The weekend's weather should be mainly dry and continue along with warmer temperatures into the beginning of next week. Friday will be cloudy with showers. There should be some bright spells coming in from the coast and spreading across the West, although we can still expect some showers. There will be a moderate to quite strong south-westerly wind on land that will be very strong off the coast. Temperatures will reach 6° in the Ardennes and about 12° over the rest of the country.

The evening will see rain again in the far east of the country, but central and eastern areas will nevertheless have a dry night with alternating cloudy and dry spells. The west may see some rain. Minimum temperatures are expected to be between 4° and 8°.

Saturday weather will alternate between cloudy spells and clear skies, and will be dry apart from on the coast, where there may be a shower or two in the morning.  The south-southwest wind will be moderate although much stronger on the coast. Temperatures will reach around 8° at noon in the Ardennes and  13° in other regions.

From Sunday to Wednesday, the sun will make a brief appearance and there should be little rain.  Midday temperatures should reach about 13°, mild for this time of year.
