Lots of snow and rain will fall on Wednesday. But the weather will soon become drier on the West coast. The maximum temperature will be 6°C in Ardenne and 10°C in the other regions, with a moderate wind. Christmas Eve will remain dry, with a minimum temperature of -1°C in Upper Belgium and 3°C to 5°C elsewhere. There will be a few spots of sunshine on Christmas Day. At the end of the afternoon, there is an increased risk of rain and the showers will turn wintery in the high areas of Ardenne. Maximum temperatures will be between 3°C in Ardenne and around 7°C elsewhere. There will be a moderate wind in the West and North-West, which will be stronger on the coast. The weather will be varied in these areas.
Winter will progressively set in over the next few days. The weather will remain dry and cloudy on Friday, with an average temperature of around 5°C. But from Saturday onwards, the weather will be drearier, accompanied by rain or snow depending on the region. The wind will be strong. Wintery showers are also predicted for Sunday.
New Year week will be cold but dry, with temperatures around 0°C during the day.
