The Belgian, sole winner of the EuroMillions jackpot on December 26th has yet to come forward, the National Lottery revealed on Tuesday. Over 25 million euros are waiting for him. Kiki Vervloesem, spokesperson for the National Lottery, says winners of major amounts often take over 10 days to come forward, especially during holiday periods.
After the draw, winners have up to 20 weeks to make themselves known at their original point of purchase or at the National Lottery.
On December 26th, the Belgian won exactly 25,234,535 euros on the EuroMillions. He was the only person to have chosen the 5 winning numbers and 2 lucky stars.
