At least 100,000 copies of the new edition of Charlie Hebdo will go on sale in Belgium on Thursday, said press distributor AMP on Tuesday. In total, some 2.5 million copies of the weekly will be printed for France and abroad. 100,000 copies of the 1179th edition of Charlie Hebdo will go on sale in Belgium on Thursday, the day after its release in France. Additional copies may be ordered if demand exceeds supply, but it is still too early to know if that will be necessary or not, says AMP. Similarly, nobody yet knows how many copies of the following editions of Charlie Hebdo will be distributed in Belgium.
7.95 million copies of "The Survivors' Edition", released a week after the attack at the weekly's HQ that left twelve dead, were printed, 480,000 of which were distributed in Belgium.
