Belgium borrows over 3 billion euros at ever-lower rates

Belgium’s debt stands at 3.057 billion euros, at rates reaching ever-lower levels, according to figures published by the Federal Debt Agency. Belgium borrowed 1.75 billion euros in 10-year OLOs (linear bonds), at a record average rate of 0.419%.

The country also borrowed 0.425 and 0.882 billion euros with an even longer term (until 2041 and 2045), at average rates of 0.946% and 1.048% respectively.
