A 4-month-old baby was found dead at home, Rue Serpentin, Ixelles, early on Thursday afternoon. The information was published by the La Dernière Heure daily and later confirmed by Brussels-Ixelles police spokesman Christian De Coninck.
The baby's parents are currently being questioned. The cause of death has not yet been determined. Forensics and the public prosecutor are expected to visit the scene.
