Dieudonné calls his fans to Antwerp, where his show was banned

Around 200 people demonstrated in front of the Akdeniz concert hall in Antwerp at 5.15pm on Sunday. The controversial French comedian Dieudonné had asked them to turn up, according to the spokesman for Brussels-Midi, Marie Verbeke. The mayor, Eric Tomas, made a decree banning the protest. The police blocked the entrance to the hall. There had been no incidents at 5.30pm. Following the cancelation of his show at the Forest National on the 17th of May, and the decree banning a protest at Tour & Taxis the same day, Dieudonné organised a paper chase leaving from Midi station at 3pm on Sunday. People wanting to take part got an email telling them to meet on the platforms a little after 4pm.
