The Tax-on-Web service’s hit counter stopped at 2,491,628 submitted forms early on Thursday morning. Tax payers who opted to fill in their 2015 income tax form online had until midnight on the 15th of July to use Tax-on-Web. On Wednesday, it was revealed that around 91,000 tax forms had been filled in online on Tuesday alone, which was a record for a single day.
Tax-on-Web declarations had to be filled in before the 15th of July, or the 29th of October if they did it by proxy.
The deadline for paper forms was the 30th of June.
