Les Petit Riens invests 11 million euros in Anderlecht

The association Les Petits Riens has invested 10.9 million euros in a new recycling centre. It will open in Anderlecht in the next few weeks, L’Echo reported on Wednesday. The new factory will double the amount of fabric Les Petit Riens can recycle, taking it from 3,000 tons to 6,000 tons a year. It will also create around a hundred new jobs in two years.

Les Petit Riens currently collects, sorts and sells or recycles 7,000 tons a year. They mainly handle fabric, but also furniture, decorations, bikes etc… It employs the equivalent of 163 full time workers, and generated 11.4 million euros in 2014.
