Pecq - Body found in burned-out ‘H2O’ nightclub

A body was found this Wednesday in Pecq’s burned-out H2O nightclub, according to information from Tournai prosecutor’s office. The building accidentally caught fire on Saturday, October 3rd.  The victim may be a 31-year-old Frenchman who has not been seen since that date and who had been working at the club for 7 years.

Workers form a Flemish firm commissioned to clear the building found the body in a store-room on Wednesday morning, according to Tournai prosecutor’s office. The victim has not yet been formally identified.

“At the current time, I do not have information on the ID, gender or state of the body. The case has been transferred to investigating judge Mrs. Laloux. The body has not yet been examined externally but we have scheduled an autopsy,” confirmed Tournai Deputy Public Prosecutor, Frédéric Bariseau.
