Graves at the Enclos des Fusillés in Liège damaged

Graves in the cemetery at Chartreuse in Liège were found damaged on Sunday. The cemetery is for those that died during the war. The CHU communication director made the announcement on his personal Facebook page.

“The incident at the Enclos des Fusillés in Chartreuse happened between Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime”, says Louis Maraite. He said six crosses were broken, apparently by being kicked over. “Antoine Bini, the friends of the Promenade de Mémorial Interallié de Cointe 1914-2014 and myself made an official complaint on Monday. It is stupid vandalism”, he added.
