One ton of cocaine destined for Belgium intercepted in Colombia

Colombian security services discovered a container containing 1.3 ton of cocaine in Cartagena, authorities indicated on Wednesday. The drugs were owned and transported by the criminal organisation, Los Urabenos.
18 suspects have been detained in several simultaneous operations throughout the country. The United States has also filed for an extradition for seven of the suspects.
Los Urabenos is made up of several ex paramilitary soldiers and is the biggest criminal organisation in Colombia. It’s especially active in drug trafficking, extorsion and the exploitation of illegal mining.
