Several media release a picture taken by an airport security camera which show the three main suspects of the Zaventem airport attack. The photo shows three men pushing their luggage trolleys with the two men to the left dressed with a single black glove on their left hands to possibly conceal detonators. The two men to the left are believed to have blown themselves up while the third man to the right still remains at large.
The federal police confirms to Belga news agency that the third man to the right of the picture is a suspect that is searched after.
According to the “Het Laatste Nieuws”, the picture was tweeted by a police officer but intended only to be used for internal use by the police.
The federal prosecutor has asked journalists to not reveal any suspicious information in order not to harm any ongoing investigations but that the publication of this photo does not constitute any problem.
