There was a murder in Roux (Charleroi) in the early hours of Saturday morning. A pedestrian was shot dead. The perpetrators fled on foot, but no-one saw where they went.
Emergency services say the murder took place on rue Major Housiaux in Roux at around 1am on Saturday. A pedestrian was shot several times.
The victim was treated by emergency services at the scene. He was taken to hospital, but died a little while later.
The Charleroi Prosecutor’s office is expected to examine the scene overnight. The motive is not known, and there are no suspects.
