An employee run over by a customer in a supermarket car park

There was an accident in a Delhaize car park on Saturday morning.
It was the Delhaize in boulevard des Gérardchamps in Verviers. A driver made a mistake and ran over a shop employee. The person was seriously hurt, the emergency services said on Saturday.

“A woman in the store car park confused reverse and forward. She hit a store employee who was smoking a cigarette”, according to Vesdre police. The victim was seriously hurt.

The woman in her thirties was stuck under the vehicle, and had to be released by the fire department before she could get medical attention. Several people who saw the incident were left in shock.
