The post-mortem on the Belgian kickboxer, Marc de Bonte, found last last month in a canal in the Netherlands, has not, so far, provided clarity upon how he died. The Dutch police indicated this yesterday (Thursday). The inquest continues.
Marc De Bonte, aged 26, disappeared on November 5th.
He went to a party at his training school and then to a friend in the Turnhout area of Antwerp.
He then sent a text message to his girlfriend letting her know that he was arriving at hers, before then disappearing.
His body was fished out of the water on November 24th in the Wlhelmin Canal in Oirschot in the Netherlands.
