The RMI’s forecast indicates that the weather will stay dry on Friday afternoon, despite a cloudy sky. Low clouds will moreover limit visibility in the Ardennes. Maximum temperatures will be slightly higher in the High Ardennes and will be between 3 and 8 degrees in other areas.

The wind will generally be moderate but stronger across the West of the country, with gusts of up to 50 kilometres per hour.

During the night, a weak band of rain will go across the country, moving from west to east. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 0 and 6 degrees.

On Saturday, the remaining slight showers will die away from the South-East of the country in the morning. The weather will be dry practically everywhere, despite significant cloud cover in the South of the country. Maximum temperatures will be between 3 and 9 degrees whereas there will be a moderate west-south-west wind.

On the night before Christmas, indeed Christmas Eve night, the sky will be cloudy in all regions, with the possibility of showers or drizzle. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 2 degrees in Hautes Fagnes and 8 degrees at the coast.

On Sunday, Christmas Day, there will be a wonderful present from Santa! Belgium will be in a warm sector and temperatures will therefore be very mild for the season being 9 to 12 degrees in central Belgium and 5 to 8 degrees to the south of the Sambre and Meuse valley. However, the weather will be very cloudy and misty.
