A 22-year-old man is likely to have fallen into a canal in Bruges. Searches were stopped on Sunday evening, having yielded no results up to that point. They are likely to resume today (Monday).
A young man was found asleep on a barge on Saturday morning in Bruges.
He was suffering from the effects of a blackout, but had indicated that one of his friends was likely to be in the area. The two men had spent the evening together and consumed both alcohol and drugs.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office suspects that both men wished to settle down on the barge and that one of them fell into the water.
This disappearance is being taken very seriously. The searches had to be stopped on Sunday, around 6 p.m., owing to a lack of light.
