A Polish man was seriously injured yesterday morning (Sunday) at Tessenderlo. This followed a fight which erupted between between several drunkards. In a house in the Rode Heide several Polish people were having a party.
In an atmosphere where alcohol was being consumed, the situation degenerated into a fight.
During the fight, the man in question fell on shards from a broken porcelain service.
The emergency services took the victim to hospital. Local police from the Beringen-Ham-Tessenderlo police zone have interviewed several individuals about the incident.
A report has been completed and staff from the police laboratory attended at the scene.
