An accident involving two heavy goods vehicles and a smaller truck caused a long traffic jam on the Antwerp ring road Monday morning, reports the Flemish traffic center. The collision occurred at Antwerp East, at the junction with the E313. The slowdowns extended to the A12, E19 and E17. Due to the disruption, the Liefkenshoek tunnel was made accessible toll-free in the direction of the Netherlands. A driver was injured in the accident. The rescue services had to extricate him.
