Slaughter without stunning - the Walloon parliamentary commission will have the opportunity to vote on May 5

The Environment Committee of the Walloon Parliament will have the opportunity to vote on Friday, 5 May, on the proposal for a decree prohibiting the slaughter of animals without prior stunning under certain conditions for ritual slaughter, it was reported on Thursday by good sources. The conference of the President of the Walloon Parliament thus consented to a request unanimously voiced last week by this committee. Until now, the issues debated on this sensitive subject in the regional assembly had not yet had the possibility of being voted upon.
