A man has been remanded in custody after beating and trying to strangle his partner. The incident happened in Marche-en-Femmenne on Friday, the Luxemburg Prosecutor’s office said on Saturday. The case has been handed to an instruction judge.
The suspect was already known to police for domestic violence. The latest incident was reported by a neighbour, who heard screams. The victim was taken to hospital.
