The Organ for the coordination of threat analysis (OCAM) is keeping the Terrorist threat level at 3 (out of 4) for Belgium. This was revealed by the Home Affairs Minister Jan Jambon on Friday.
OCAM did an evaluation after the Barcelona and Cambrils seaside resort attacks in Spain on Thursday. At least 13 people were killed and a hundred injured in these attacks.
The fact that the Terrorist threat level is at 3 for Belgium means the threat is “serious, possible and likely”, but there is no specific information about an “imminent threat”.
