The Public Prosecutor’s Office has indicated that a young girl, aged 16, was found dead on Thursday evening, in a merry-go-round in Wemmel (Flemish Brabant). No trace of third-party involvement has initially been detected, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has said. However an autopsy will take place to determine the cause of death.
A witness, bringing a horse back to the merry-go-round, alerted the police and the emergency services on Thursday evening. The forensic lab and a medical examiner attended at the scene.
