The coldest 18 March since records began in 1901

Meteorologist, David Dehenauw, says that Sunday, 18 March 2018, was possibly “the latest ‘winter day’ ever to come after the winter season.” The maximum temperature in Uccle reached -0.1 degrees Celsius, which made it the coldest 18 March, in any event, since the beginning of the 20th century.

Mr Dehenauw stated, on his Twitter account, that these temperature readings have yet to be validated by the Climatology Division of the RMI (Royal Meteorological Institute).
